I bought the app on a previous phone. How do I restore it?

Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID. Install The Old Ways from the App Store on the new device, then open the paywall screen and tap Restore Purchases. Apple verifies it — we're never involved, because we hold no account for you.

Does the oracle need an internet connection?

No. The oracle's AI runs entirely on your device, and the whole library is stored locally. The app works completely offline — on a mountain, on a plane, anywhere.

Why does the app take up significant storage?

Because everything is truly on your device: 85 complete source texts, the ritual and festival content, the artwork and cinematics, and the oracle's AI model. That size is the price of an app that never phones home.

Is my data safe?

We collect none — see our privacy policy. There is nothing to leak, sell, or subpoena.

I found an error in the lore or a citation.

We take this more seriously than anything else — the citations are the point. Email us the passage and the source, and we will verify it against the texts and correct it in an update.
